Taking risks in their music and live shows is part of organicArma's philosophy, which is based on duality and connecting one’s opposite. "We are under duality collectively,” says Dharma, organicArma's drummer.“Most people use fantasies as escapism and reality as imprisonment. They are not aware that in connecting these dual worlds they empower themselves to originate."

organicArma utilizes philosophy, linguistics, psychology, science, research and analysis to construct their message, which they have chosen to transmit through music. The three-member band, comprised of Dharma [drums, percussion], Lharma [bass, keys], and Phaxas [sound engineer, sampler], applies these principles in order to transmit messages with purpose and intent.

"The name 'organicArma' is a reflection of our philosophy", Phaxas identifies the connection. “Our music background is the "organic" terrain from where mankind stands. Our music itself is our "arma" or an expression of what is unknown to man."

When exploring organicArma’s “organic” seeds, you will discover jugglers of dual lives -- economist & drummer, publicist & sound engineer, professor & bass player. Each member’s background, coupled with their ability to utilize both sides of their brain, are important for transmitting the group’s concept.

One of organicArma’s “armas” is their ability to layer acoustic and electronic elements by playing traditional instruments integrated with Roland® brains, loop stations, Apple® computers and frequency effectors.  The band, which is inspired by minimal techno, micro house, techno, dub, house, industrial & rock, utilize logical fluent breaks, latin beats, time signature changes and unique sounds to originate a sound that is uncategorizable.  However, purpose always plays a greater role than aesthetics for organicArma when crafting a vehicle for a message. 

A second "arma" utilized by the band is the combining of original instrumentation with heroic linguistics. For organicArma, there is no “one” lead singer. Since all three members are responsible for the linguistic lyrical process, all three members take on the protagonistic role of delivering their vocal message.  For orgnicArma a message is more powerful when delivered by one who originated the message.

organicArma is based out of Miami’s Wynwood Art District, as is their label Acustronic. Acustronic is a concept label made up of sentients committed to originating, representing and transmitting integral messages based on principles of philosophy, duality, risk, trust, and mind awareness. Acustronic’s “Awarehouse” is headquarters for organicArma, a live music venue, Luis Perez Galeria, and a sculpture garden.
