Discordia has been the unavoidable element of human communication. The music video will be the first single of a collection of songs for organicArma’s new EP which is a reinterpretation of the original Discordia track.

Organicarma has been searching for a way to develop its own code in order to communicate its message, connecting concepts that traditionally have not been together in harmony. By basing the search on philosophy, psychology, science, technology, literature, movies, and television, Organicarma has found various ways to put together certain concepts that allow them to develop new codes, question existing codes, and improve them.
Organicarma believes each code is unique and that the previously-mentioned sources of information can serve to develop an intellectual thought-process. OrganicArma is open to learn from every code in history, from any social identity system, to any utopian way of organization. They are aware it is not the sole source of information, however, they analyze it, interpret it, and share it for the benefit of humanity. With the first song Awarned, which comes from the concepts “aware” (having knowledge) and “warn” (to give notice, advice to be careful; caution), Organicarma wants to show their capacity of trading based on their principle of DUALITY. DUALITY allows two persons to think and take risks by means of experiencing the process of thinking without the fear of the consequences of living out experiences from the unknown.
It is through this concept of DUALITY and through analyzing the meaning of other concepts that Organicarma found a way to take risks and trade omnipotent for freewill and found what is “allowed” and “prohibited”. Would you do that? Give us your thinking.

OSCAR CARVALLO
Born in Caracas, Oscar Carvallo returned to Venezuela after completing his secondary school education in the
United States. There he studied law, a family tradition but his desire to express himself artistically and to work
in a field he loved won out. “I began to work in fashion in an informal way” he says.
Guy Meliet, the French couturier well established in Venezuela, taught him the traditional techniques of couture:
flou and tailleur. Two years later, Oscar Carvallo founded his own design studio and presented his collections.
At the same time, he also designed costumes for films and avant-garde theatre in Venezuela.
In 1997, he launched his prêt-à-porter line, which opened the doors to Neiman Marcus and Saks 5th Avenue in
the United States. However his curiosity about the world and his desire to travel led him to accept scholarship
from the Domus Academy. He did his masters in Milan from 2001 until in fashion design and worked in the
Italian industry.
In 2003, he chose to present his collections in France.
His creations follow the lead suggested by his logo: an
avatar with a cross done in calligraphy.
At the end of 2005, he opened his first boutique in Paris, 10 rue Cambon.
A JOURNEY FROM KINETICS TO THE DIGITALIn his new Spring-Summer 2008 collection Oscar Carvallo gets his inspiration from the OpArt mouvement, and more precisely from the work of one of its masters, Carlos Cruz-Diez.
OpArt or Kinetic Art exists to trick the eye. Colors, lines and shapes for a maximum effect. An aesthetic that reveals even today its futuristic and avant-garde characteristic.

Kinetic energy is the energy that an object possess from its mouvement. OpArt is made of illusions and seems in motion due to its precise mathematic composition.
Silver leathers, jerseys and cottons multiply by their own reflects the geometric abstraction of the silk printed chiffons crepes.
Oscar Carvallo works in this collection with the Vj-Photographer Ruddy Candillon well known for his dynamic light designs and his projections of manipulated images transforming the kinetic canvas in a digital one.
In the Spring-Summer 2008 installation composed by more than 60 static mannequins wearing the new collection, the OrganicArma minamal techno music contributes to make us enter a journey from kinetic to digital.
